Why we do this
You can pay for your yacht charter in Miami with crypto — BTC, ETH, SOL or USDT — at exactly the same price as card. No surcharge, no "crypto premium", no awkward workaround through a third party. The come.yachts domain grew out of the crypto world before it ever put a boat in the water, and it shows: our payment flow was designed around on-chain settlement from day one, not bolted on for a press release.
Everything else works like any serious Miami yacht charter: a vetted partner fleet, USCG-licensed captains, fuel and ice included, a 30% deposit to hold the date, and free weather reschedules 48h+ out. The only difference is that when the invoice arrives, "pay in crypto" is the first option on it — not a footnote. Browse the full Miami lineup or check the price table; every number you see is the number you pay, in USD or its coin equivalent at payment time.
Process
Four steps, no wallet gymnastics. The whole thing takes minutes.
Tell us the date, group size and the boat you want — anything from a sport boat to a 60–79 ft yacht. We quote a fixed USD total: captain, fuel, ice and sound included. Crypto never changes the price.
You get a secure payment link from our processor with your charter reference on it. Choose your coin and network on the page — no manual address copying, no "did you use the right chain" anxiety.
The link shows the exact coin amount at spot, locked for 15 minutes. Pay within the window and the market can do whatever it wants afterward — your charter is settled.
Once the transaction confirms, you get a written confirmation with the boat category, marina, departure time and captain contact. Date held, done. Same flow whether it's the 30% deposit or the full amount.
Live pricing
$2,800 all-in — a 60–79 ft yacht at $700/hr for the 4-hour minimum. Here's what that costs in coin at this moment, live from CoinGecko.
Live spot prices for illustration. Your actual rate is fixed by the payment link, not by this widget.
Coins
Four coins directly, the long tail by request. USD is always the unit of account.
The default for larger charters and corporate bookings. On-chain or Lightning where the processor supports it; confirmation times are factored in, so a normal confirmation never costs you the boat.
Mainnet ETH, straightforward. If gas is spiking, USDT on a cheaper network usually makes more sense for a deposit — we'll say so rather than let you overpay on fees.
The fastest way to settle a charter — seconds to finality, negligible fees. Popular with groups booking a yacht party the same week as a conference.
The no-drama option: your quote is in USD, you pay in a dollar stablecoin, nothing to think about. Most crypto deposits we take are USDT.
By request through our payment processor. It converts instantly at payment, so the volatility is handled on their side — your USD price stays fixed. Ask when you request the quote; we confirm before sending the link.
Straight answers
Crypto payments attract vague marketing. Here's exactly how ours work.
If a refund is due under the normal cancellation terms, we send it in the coin you paid with, at its USD value on the day of the refund. If your coin doubled since booking, you get half the coins back — and vice versa. Nobody speculates on anybody.
Payment goes through a licensed processor and converts on receipt. We never hold your coins, we can't lose your coins, and there is no "balance" sitting with us between booking and departure.
In the US, spending crypto is a disposal event. Whatever gain or loss that triggers is between you and your accountant — we issue a USD invoice and, on request, reference the transaction hash on it.
The processor locks the rate, converts instantly, and settles to us in dollars. That's why we can take volatile coins without padding the price: there's no volatility left by the time it reaches us.
The one number that matters: your rate is locked for 15 minutes at payment. The USD price of your charter never moves — only the coin amount does, and only until you pay.
Who books this way
Miami hosts major crypto conferences every year, and the pattern repeats each time: the panels are public, the real conversations happen on the water. A private deck three miles off Miami Beach has no walk-ups, no badge scanners, and no one at the next table.
A private charter is capped at 12–13 guests under USCG rules — your group and a licensed captain, nobody else. For founders and funds who'd rather not talk deals in a hotel lobby, that's the entire point.
When the conference crowd is in town, a boat party or party catamaran for up to 65 guests beats any rooftop with a line outside. Book the week before the conference, not the week of — the fleet sells out.
Remote-first crypto teams meet in person a few times a year, and a 6–8 hour charter with a sunset leg is the offsite people actually remember. USD invoice for the company, crypto settlement if that's how your treasury runs.
FAQ
BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT are accepted directly through our payment link. Other major coins and memecoins work by request through our payment processor. Every quote is in USD, so the coin you choose never changes the price of the charter.
By request, yes. Our payment processor supports a long tail of tokens and converts them instantly at payment, so volatility is handled on their side, not yours. Tell us the token when you request a quote and we confirm before sending the link.
When we send your payment link, the coin amount is fixed at the spot rate for 15 minutes. Pay within that window and you are done, regardless of where the market moves. If the link expires, we send a fresh one at the current rate — the USD price of your charter never changes.
Refunds are paid in the same coin at the same USD value on the day of the refund, under the normal cancellation terms. Weather reschedules are free with 48 hours or more notice, captain's call. We don't speculate on your coins in either direction.
Yes. A 30% deposit holds your date, and you can pay it in crypto and settle the balance in crypto, card or cash before departure. Mixing payment methods is fine — many groups do.
Yes. We issue a standard USD invoice with the charter details, and we can reference the on-chain transaction on it if your accounting needs it. Common for conference afterparties and team offsites.
