How our fleet works

A vetted partner fleet across Miami's marinas

You book a category, not a single hull tied to one dock — and that's exactly why your date is almost never sold out.

Come Yachts runs a Miami yacht fleet the way working charter brokers actually keep availability real: we maintain a vetted partner fleet spread across Miami Beach Marina, Sea Isle Marina downtown, and the Haulover area up north. Instead of showing you one boat that may already be booked, you tell us your date, group size and must-haves. We match the exact vessel from the category you chose and send its photos and full specs before you pay the 30% deposit. Approve the boat, hold the date — that's the whole flow, and it's the same for a $140/hr pontoon or a 60 ft yacht charter in Miami.

Why not just list fixed boats? Because single-boat listings go stale. A boat gets booked, hauled out for service, or moved to another marina, and the "book now" page keeps selling it anyway. The category model means we always have an answer for your date, and every vessel we assign has passed our condition check first. Prices below are the same canonical rates you'll find on our Miami charter prices page — captain, fuel, ice, water, cooler and bluetooth sound included on every private charter. You can pay by card or crypto, in USD either way.

Vetted, not scraped

Every partner boat passes a condition check — clean upholstery, working heads and sound, current USCG safety gear — before it ever carries our guests.

Photos before deposit

We confirm the exact boat for your date and send real photos and specs first. The deposit is only due after you approve what you see.

Real availability

Multiple vessels per category across three marina areas means your Saturday isn't hostage to one boat's calendar.

Best for sandbar days, families and budget crews. Flat, stable, easy to board — the right tool for Haulover Sandbar and Nixon Beach.

Typical layout: open deck with wraparound lounge seating, bimini top, swim ladder and cooler space. No bathroom aboard, so we route trips around marina and sandbar stops. The 2-hour minimum makes it the cheapest way onto Biscayne Bay.

Miami boat rental categories compared

Every category, one table — the same numbers our calculator and quotes use.

Rates below are starting points for well-kept vessels in each class; your exact quote depends on the specific boat, date and season. Peak demand runs January–April, so weekends in that window book out first — more on that on the boat rental Miami page.

Quick match

Which boat for which group?

Skip the browsing — here's what we'd assign nine times out of ten.

A couple or two → sport boat

A 24–29 ft sport boat at $190/hr covers Star Island and a sunset run in a 3-hour block. Fast, private, and the best value per person for 2–6 guests.

10 friends → 40 ft yacht

A 40–49 ft yacht at $330/hr splits to about $132 each on a 4-hour charter with 10 aboard. Shade, a bathroom, a cabin, sunpads — everything a day at Haulover Sandbar needs.

20+ people → party catamaran

Above 13 guests there is exactly one option, and it's a good one: an inspected catamaran from $900/hr with a dance deck, restrooms and room for 65.

Corporate group → 60 ft yacht

For clients or a leadership offsite, a 60–79 ft yacht from $700/hr delivers a flybridge, formal salon and space for seated catering. Up to 13 guests, all-in pricing your finance team can read.

The 13-guest rule: under USCG regulations, a private charter carrying more than 13 passengers must operate on an inspected vessel. In Miami that means groups of 14–65 book a party catamaran — most private yachts, regardless of length, are legally capped at 12–13 guests. Any operator promising 20 people on a 50 ft yacht is offering an illegal trip.

FAQ

Miami fleet questions, answered straight

Will I get the exact boat in the photos?

You book a category and your requirements; we confirm the exact boat and send its real photos and specs before you pay the deposit. If the assigned boat becomes unavailable, we replace it with an equal or larger vessel in the same category at the same rate. You never pay for a boat you haven't seen.

Can I see photos before booking?

Yes. Send your date, group size and category, and we reply with photos and full specs of the exact boat we're assigning — usually within an hour, 9am–9pm ET. The 30% deposit is only due after you approve the boat.

What amenities are included on every boat?

Every private charter includes a licensed USCG captain, fuel, ice and water, a cooler and a bluetooth sound system. Catering, dock pickup outside the marina, jet ski add-ons and gratuity (15–20% is customary) are extra.

Is there a bathroom onboard?

All yachts 40 ft and up have at least one enclosed marine bathroom, and 50+ ft yachts typically have two. Party catamarans have restrooms. Pontoons and sport boats under 30 ft usually do not, so we plan those trips around marina and sandbar stops.

Do the boats have shade?

Yes. Pontoons carry a bimini top, sport boats have a bimini or tower shade, and yachts 40 ft and up add shaded cockpit seating plus an air-conditioned salon. Tell us shade is a priority and we'll match a boat with more covered space.

Can we play our own music?

Every boat in the fleet has a bluetooth sound system — connect a phone and run your own playlist. Party catamarans carry bigger DJ-grade systems, and on 60+ ft yachts we can arrange a live DJ setup on request.

How old are the boats?

The exact boat varies by date, so we don't quote model years per category. Every partner vessel must pass our condition check: clean upholstery, working heads and sound, current USCG safety gear. The photos we send before deposit show the actual boat — what you see is what docks.

Tell us your group — we'll send the boat

Date, headcount, vibe. Photos and an exact all-in quote back within the hour, 9am–9pm ET. Deposit only after you approve the boat. Start at the Miami charters hub if you're still choosing your day.
