Every boat party in Miami is one of two products: a private charter where the whole boat is yours, or a per-person ticket on a shared party cruise. We sell both. Here is exactly how they compare.
The ticketed market runs on one formula: $29 deposit online, $80 plus tax in cash at check-in, $109 total per person for a 3-hour cruise with open bar, a live DJ and a few hundred strangers. It's a real party and for a small group of two to five people it's often the right call — nobody rents a whole yacht for three friends. But most sites won't show you that math up front, and almost none will tell you when a private yacht rental actually costs less per head. We will, because it usually does from about 8 guests up.
A private boat party charter starts at $570 — that's a sport boat for up to 10 guests, 3 hours, captain and fuel included. Hourly rates across our partner fleet run $190–$900 depending on the boat, and every private charter is BYOB: bring your own bottles, your own playlist, your own crowd. Honest cons both ways: a ticket cruise gives you zero control — the boat leaves without you if you're late, the music is what it is, and the advertised price grows with tax and the cash balance at the door. A private charter asks more of you — you pick the boat, you bring the drinks, and below roughly 6 guests the per-head cost is higher than a ticket.
